It is with sincere regret and sadness that we announce the
death of Sione Kite, Managing Director of Tongasat. On 30
March 2003 Sione gave up his battle against a long-standing
illness, dying in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Our Chairperson, Her Royal Highness Princess Pilolevu
Tuita, and the Board and all the staff of Tongasat are
greatly saddened by this loss. Our prayers, thoughts and
deepest condolences are with Sione's family at this
difficult time.
Those who knew Sione, will no doubt recall the very high
regard in which he was held by all who came into contact
with him. He was a good, intelligent, humorous and sincere
man, dedicated to his family, his job and his country. He
will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
